Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how ViableDx collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services, including the ViableDx symptom triage tool. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Last Updated: July 2026
We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
1. Who We Are
ViableDX (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides access to diagnostic imaging and AI-powered healthcare tools. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, services, and related tools (collectively, the “Services”).
2. What Information We Collect
The symptom triage tool and our contact/appointment forms are separate, unconnected data flows: triage answers are never stored together with your name, email, or phone number unless you separately submit a contact or appointment form.
If you use the symptom triage tool:
- Your symptom-related answers (e.g., symptom location, duration, and answers to safety questions such as implants, pacemakers, or pregnancy status), stored under a randomly generated session and submission identifier kept in your own browser — not under your name or contact details. These are stored as anonymous data for up to 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
If you submit a contact or appointment form:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your request.
Information we collect automatically:
- Browser type and device information
- Usage data (pages visited, time on site)
- We do not collect or store your IP address. Our hosting provider supplies an approximate city, region, and country for each visit, and we separately compute a one-way, non-reversible hashed identifier for your network range to help detect abuse. Neither value can be used to reconstruct your IP address or identify you personally, and neither is stored alongside your name or contact details.
- Cookies and analytics (via tools like Google Analytics)
3. How We Use Your Information
We may use your information to: Provide and improve our services Schedule or manage appointments Respond to inquiries or requests Analyze usage to improve user experience Comply with legal or regulatory requirements
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your data. We may share information with: Trusted service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics). Medical partners (e.g., radiologists) for service delivery. Government or regulatory bodies when required by law
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar local browser storage to enhance your experience, remember preferences (including your cookie consent choice and your triage session so you can return to it), and analyze traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect functionality, including your ability to resume a triage session.
6. Data Retention
We retain triage submission data — your questionnaire answers and the automatically collected location/network information described in Section 2 — for up to 90 days from submission, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted from our systems. Contact and appointment form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your request, meet legal obligations, or provide the services you requested.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and the nature of your interaction with ViableDX, you may be protected by privacy laws such as:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – for users in the European Union, providing rights around access, correction, deletion, and data portability.
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) – for U.S. users whose health-related information is involved, ensuring the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI).
We respect your rights under these laws and will handle your data accordingly. This includes:
- Accessing your personal data
- Correcting inaccuracies in your data
- Requesting deletion of your data
- Opting out of certain processing activities
We take privacy seriously and are committed to handling your information responsibly in accordance with applicable laws. If you have any questions or would like to exercise your rights, contact us at info@viabledx.com . You may have rights to: Access, correct, or delete your data Opt-out of certain processing Withdraw consent at any time To make a request, contact us at info@viabledx.com.
Because triage submissions are stored under an anonymous session and submission identifier rather than your name or email, we can only locate and delete a specific submission if you provide that identifier (visible in your browser's local storage) when contacting us. Submissions are otherwise deleted automatically per the retention schedule in Section 6.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypting connections between our application and our database using verified TLS certificates. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to protect your information.
9. Third-Party Links
Our site may contain links to third-party services (e.g., payment portals, blogs). We’re not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed about how we protect your information.
