About ViableDx

Better decisions begin with greater clarity.

We build transparent, human-centered intelligence for complex environments—helping people understand what is happening, why it matters, and what they might consider next.

Why we exist

Make complexity more understandable—and more actionable.

In healthcare and scientific research, decisions are often made amid uncertainty and complex information. We believe useful technology should make its reasoning easier to understand, not harder to see.

ViableDx brings that principle to two areas of work: non-diagnostic tools that support health literacy, and supervisory intelligence that helps research teams operate complex laboratory systems more reliably. Both are grounded in the same idea: technology should support people’s judgment with clarity and care.

What we are building

Two initiatives. One commitment to clarity.

We apply explainable, human-centered design to distinct challenges in health and research.

Advanced R&D

Supervisory intelligence for laboratory systems

We are developing a supervisory layer that works alongside existing control software—not in place of PID controllers, safety interlocks, or device controls. It is designed to learn instrument behavior, detect abnormal patterns, help localize issues, and guide operator-approved corrective actions when conditions drift or controllers become unstable.

Healthcare

Transparent health-literacy tools

We are researching a transparent, non-diagnostic tool to help people better understand symptoms and prepare for conversations with their care teams. By making symptom guidance clearer and safer, this work aims to reduce uncertainty, encourage earlier engagement with healthcare providers, and support more effective patient-clinician communication.
